Actually, there are some more interesting parallels here...their long time leader left in disgrace and the unit went under interim leadership. Led by a grunt from the ranks.
This all happened shortly before the unit was disbanded for good.
Hmmm...

How "traditional" is Wisconsin? They've only worn that uniform since 1992, or about as long as Florida
They certainly aren't "modern" in the sense of being new and edgy. Plain colors, no shadows, plain numerals, white pants with one color double stripe.

The OP is a disgrace to all of the soldiers of the Louisiana Tigers that fought valiantly in the CSA. OP you should be ashamed of yourself.

Not even mad. I just think it's disgraceful to rewrite history to fit your agenda. Being an idiot is fine but don't blatantly lie.

Missouri was a union state.
The Missouri Compromise. Read about it. Missouri was admitted to the Union as a slave state. There were slaveholders in the bootheel, and all along the Missouri River. Columbia was located in the part of the state called "Little Dixie", and the Little Dixie Conservation Area is still just outside of town.
kansas was settled by abolitionists from New England states, and started having conflict with their Missouri neighbors a good 10 years before the actual Civil War broke out in South Carolina. By then, the state was split. Both the Union and the Confederacy claimed Missouri.

Which side did Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn fight for and why? You're obviously into Missouri based fiction, so I'd like your opinion on this critically important issue.

Get out of here with this bullshite.
See you in Death Valley Saturday night. You can't out-fight Louisiana Tigers... past, present, or ever.
It's about damn time Missouri came to collect their arse-beating.

Missouri was always officially a US state.
We never seceded. "Claims" are irrelevant

Wrong. Missouri was for the Union. Only a few southern sympathizers fought against Kansas.
Jesse James is the only thing good to ever come out of missouri.

And Missouri gave us the James gang who robbed the shite out of civilians for years and gave southern sympathizers a bad name.
