Before CJF?

1. Basketball
2. Baseball (though I'd put this first. Basketball has always been our sport though.)
3. Football
4. Women's Bowling (our only national championship!)

Now football is gaining on basketball in popularity, and our basketball team is awful.

Not my personal preference. I prefer football over the other two easily.

1. Baseball- numerous CWS appearances, attendance records. Our best sport by far..only sport where we are historically top 5 in the SEC.
2. Basketball- have had some pretty good success. Solid SEC program
3. Football- most popular sport of course, but success wise is lacking historically. Getting better as of recent with new facilities, stadium expansion, and bowl appearances.

Why wouldn't I be?

It also draws 5,200 more fans per event than SC baseball. Pretty sad that you guys won't support the one sport you're good at....

There are like 5 times as many baseball games as gymnastics meets. It's like comparing average NFL and NBA attendance.

Every school's objective should be to kick azz in all sports. Anything less than maximum effort reveals weakness. Same applies to academics.

Having said that, basketball has been the fans number one sport at Vandy only because there has been no success in the other sports (baseball has only been good for 8 to 9 years). And quite frankly, we have not even enjoyed great success in basketball. Football will reign supreme if any longevity in winning can be maintained.

I agree that you should want your school to be good at everything, which is why it's nice Alabama is the current national champion in four sports

So because you don't like gymnastics everyone that does should feel ashamed? I tend to lean toward you being a POS.

Football may come first at UF, but we're good in all of the sports that are offered except women's basketball and Foley's working on that as we speak

3. Basketball

Alabama, which has averaged 13,742 fans per meet this season, is once again among the top three when it comes to women's attendance, standing alongside Tennessee basketball and Utah gymnastics as the only programs to draw more than 11,000 per event this season.

The Tide's mark includes two meets that drew more than 14,000 fans and two others that were over 12,000. This season marks the third year in a row that the gymnastics team has drawn four or more crowds over 12,000 fans.

Ark basketball is still just barely hanging on to number 2. No basketball program's stock dropped more in the 00's. Still, the average Arkansan can tell you more or less how the basketball team is doing and probably couldn't tell you how the baseball team is doing. Arkansas baseball needs a title to officially pass basketball.
