He was helped 2 of the years with both ohio st and penn st being ineligable to play in the conference championship. This with michigan being horrible and nebraska's shell of a former self 20 decade run.
It was a michigan st /wisconsin conference.
I may have all those facts wrong, but the big was a shitshow for a bunch of years and burt won the hotdog eating conference for the right to lose the rose bowl. (Again i cannt remember if he won or not)
So to sum up, i spewed some garbage that is probably inaccurate

Harbaugh making 9 million is horrible for CFB.
Unnaturally inflates what coaches will make.
Saban at 6 is a lot and as high as it should be right now.

More evidence with Wisconsin barely beating Western Michigan that that conference sucks.
Penn State may be the one outlier. But Alabama bumrushed USC as well, so not saying much.
