n the 5th grade at Paradise Elementary in Pineville I was responsible for putting the flag up every day. In January 1983 when Bear Bryant died, I raised the flag at half mast because my father taught me right....I knew that LSU's position in the college football world was somewhat define by what Alabama did, I respected that.
Today, the Gumps are lead by someone who deserves no respect. The equivalent of a prostitute. I feel dirty that LSU won a championship with him. I can somewhat respect the dirt road alumni that became Alabama fans with the state was only known otherwise for a governor at the school house door and Bull Connor dogs (not cause I agree with the latter...but because I don't believe that all supported that).
But I can't abide the modern day "Wal Mart" alumns who bought a t-shirt because the won a game.
Bama fans - if you want my respect, then say Saban is a pos and pathetic human being who doesn't even deserve to be mention in the same sentence as the Bear.
Why would I want your respect after this Walmart education worthy post? Hell, you don't even know when Bear Bryant died.

If you just raised it to half staff, you did it wrong. It's supposed to go to full staff and then lowered to half staff.

I do not completely agree with the OP. However... This is an original flame, and for that, I give it an upvote.
I live in gump vile now. My neighbor is 66, never went to college but is a fan cause they rep his state. I respect that.
I hate the Wal mart gump fans who where FSU, MIami, Nebraska, etc fans though the 1990s and early 2000s.....and are now alabama fans.
I know Bear Bryant's success was somewhat influenced by bending the rules, but he wasn't the slime ball Saban is

And let me ask you this question: what's the name of Leslie's charity for kids?
And lastly, is Saban as big of a "piece of shite" as Leslie is an absolutely horrible game day coach?

Sounds like you're a real flag yourself.

Hope that my post is taken as respectful of U of A and Bear Bryant. And saying Saban as POS.

Well, this seems rather uncalled for.

So, is he a "POS" because he killed Fournette's Heisman chances?
Wait, Leonard is that you?
