How is something based in so much factual truth be considered a FLAME? I mean if you think Arkansas is going to win more than 2 or 3 SEC games this season then you are out of your minds and should ban yourself for unreasonable expectations.

John L Smith beat Wisconsin while he was at MSU.

So evidently that makes him a better coach than the coaching staff in place at Wisconsin or that is currently at Arkansas now. Some how hog fans forget about facts and like to think of themselves in higher regards than the record actually indicate. BCS bowls and expectations should be tapered off and the best intentions for Razorback football should be a Cotton bowl appearance here and there and 3rd and 4th place SEC West while finishing in the middle of the SEC overall.

That is what Bret Bielema is and will always be while at the University of Arkansas.

Was that the question?

I did not know that former Arkansas savior John L Smith outcoached the great Bert Bulima whilst he was the head Badger.

Thanks, this information will be helpful during the offseason.

He out coached Barry Alvarez and they were number 5 in the nation at the time but he might as well have out coached Bielema. Bielema comes from Alvarez coaching legacy and all.

Funny you should ask, Bret Bielema was the defensive coordinator at the time and gave up 49 points to the JL Smith. How does that make you feel?

HogFans have me totally confused now.

When Petrino was the coach , recruiting didnt matter, coaching was everything.

When JLS was the coach, coaching meant little when you are stacked with talent like they had.

Now with coach B, number 3 over the last 10 months, it all about the assistant coaches.

Someone help me understand

oh yeah mean his first year as a defensive coordinator? keep reaching.

it really doesn't matter, you've traded allegiances so this is all a moot point. I do find it funny you continue to support Mike Anderson even though his tenure so far is the definition of mediocrity.

fricking hypocrite.

...so you actually believe that John L Smith is a better coach than Bielema?

I know your feelings were hurt when Jeff Long did not hire Malzahn but has it ever crossed your mind that perhaps Malzahn DID NOT want to coach at Arkansas?

the only reason Bielema had success at Wisky was because he had good coordinators

-The Rant after Bielema was hired.

See I has contradictions too!
