Western Kentucky.

Rick Stansbury knows how to cheat. Worst decision in Mississippi State athletics history getting rid of him.

I'm going out on a limb and suggesting that this kid didn't qualify academically for a better school like MSU.

I am pretty sure that's not the case. He was committed to A&M. I believe he has a relative or coach that just joined the WKU staff, similar to Ben Simmons.

Western Kentucky have a very solid AD for a C-USA team.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't it. I'm pretty sure it was because he couldn't produce on the court and didn't have any control of his team. Great recruiter but horrible coach.

It's not like you were winning consistently when the talent was there, and that is with weak years overall in the SEC. Let's see if the talent can actually translate to more wins.

He's from Louisiana and was committed to A&M. Nice work LSU and A&M. Our baby brother is out working you.

It's basketball, everyone cheats.

Stansbury was the Hugh Freeze of basketball, except it's basketball so nobody cares.

He was another one and done that required the hiring of his godfather. No thanks.

Technically, he's not cheating. He's just willing to give up a spot on his staff for a recruit's family. It's a high risk move, because who knows if he'll be able to get some guys to go around him.

WKU used to have a very solid basketball program that was a perennial NCAA Tournament team. They'll get back there with Stansbury.

Who was that big galoot they had playing C in the early 2000s? Those teams were fun to watch.
