The real world is this. Someone that is better at your job will get it over you. That's what happened here. Most of you are complaining about this fact of life that goes on in every day life. Like I said, yall are on the entitlement issue at this point and think someone deserves something, even if someone who can do it better comes along. Yall would have been a great fit in Detroit about 8 yrs ago.

Are you a politician by chance? If not you missed your calling.

You've not answered or defended anything. You've only repeated ad nauseum that you feel something was wrong.

So Chiz not getting in players is not his fault

The only class that had trouble qualifying was the 2009 class, in which Chizik barely had any time at all to throw it all together. He got hired late and had to salvage it. Pretty common sense. And, since then, pretty much everybody has qualified outside of Jeremy Richardson.

Hard to understand for you, I know...

His losses are Tub's... what?

because he couldn't get qualified players in

Tubbs did it for years. Pretty much every single year. It was his thing.

Chizik did it once. In his first class. When he didn't have time to do anything else.

Why is someone even projecting the recruiting atmosphere in which Coach Bryant was a part of into this discussion/pissing match? He could have 125 guys on a roster.

Chiz had more time his first year than Saban did his.

And you've yet to address the fact, if he didn't recruit an extra player and one or two had reneged, he'd been left shorthanded in the recruiting class.
He could have told Kirven and Tomlinson that there might be a spot for them if someone left our class. Problem solved.

Everyone's got their emotions on their sleeves instead of looking at it from a worldly perspective. They seem to think there is a Utopia that exists and anything that deviates from it is deserving of massive scrutiny.

No matter if their evaluations were better by the staff? Would they not be remiss in their duties to shun better talent when it's available to them? Their duty lies in their employer, not a high school kid.

How many 3rd string players came to Saban and told him they were going to be transferring? We do not know. But Saban knows.

When was the last time under Saban that a class was left shorthanded? When has Saban ever been criticized for under recruiting?

Do you not think that these coaches know exactly how many commits they have before they get the LOI? Other than Cyrus who has ever left Bama at the alter for even a day?

That's the crux of all of this. He can't publicly talk about, or defend himself against these allegations. Or the situations under which players may leave his program.

Saban has a responsibility to honor the university's commitments to the players. Saban has made as much of a commitment to the team as he has to the school, or he should anyway.

So your answer, is to ask other hypothetical questions.

Like I asked. If one or two had reneged, and he didn't have some to take their place, you know there would be the whining and gnashing of teeth because of it. The staff did their job and got the best recruits they could. The kid had 5 other schools to get a benefit that thousands of other kids would kill for. This entire hashing out is simply because the kid cried about it and hurt feelings. People need to seriously grow up and accept life will have disappointments.

To Alabama players. I agree. This guy wasn't an Alabama player yet. He also got to pick from 5 other teams for benefit to play and recieve an education. How horrific. But wait, he cried.. damn that mean ole Saban.

Serious question, why won't Saban release the number of kids on scholarships? You would think he has nothing to hide and would be glad to adhere to the media's request.

bullshite.

No sane bama fan would whine about your class this year. I don't know why you keep typing this.
