None of this changes the fact that the University of Louisiana is the flagship, the capstone, the beacon of higher education in the blessed State of Louisiana.
It's something that ULSUA&M, BR fans must accept.
The quicker y'all accept that the University of Louisiana > ULSUA&M, BR, the quicker y'all can move your athletic programs to greater heights (see Auburn and Texas A&M for reference).

No link needed. This is a dilemma that can be solved with a little common sense.

Their baseball team is still playing baseball
They won the last bowl game they played in the State of Louisiana and in the Superdome
Their nickname is unique to Louisiana and not generic

Those are just a few reasons why.

just dropped back in to say that, due to the recent MSU related developments I no longer care about this thread.
