Let me get this straight. Someone from Alabama is making fun of Mississippi?

True. But Texas is Mississippi times five (plus less Aggots).

I applaud Auburn for barely managing to not finish dead last among all SEC West schools in football, men's basketball and baseball last year.

Thankfully State helped with that

As someone who was born in MS and now lives in AL for the past 6 years and counting. Both states are the same. Both have shitty education in parts, both backwards in parts, but both have their high points. All in all, they are the same states lol.

Do you even know that it was your baseball team that kept you from doing so? And State won the damn league in the sport, so literally finished as far from last as anyone.

2012-13 Sports Year

Auburn Football (0-8 SEC, last place in West, last place overall SEC)
Auburn Basketball (3-15 SEC, last place among West teams, last place overall SEC)
Auburn Baseball (13-17 SEC, last place in West)

2015-16 Sports Year
Auburn Football (2-6 SEC, last place in West)
Auburn Basketball (5-13 SEC, last place among West teams)
Auburn Baseball (8-22 SEC, one game in front of Arkansas for last place)

This is the most damn near impossible thing to accomplish in Southeastern Conference sports, and Auburn was one baseball win from doing it twice in four years.

Do you even know that divisions haven't even existed in basketball since the 2011-12 Sports Year?

Of course you don't, you were "educated" in Mississippi

I absolutely do. And you should go back and look at my wording "among West teams."

And you should take a step back and realize that you are arguing an overall last place finish in the league doesn't count because "there were no divisions."

Auburn's athletic department is the worst in the league.

So your response is technical "hair-splitting" on the definition of divisions?? And a personal attack on someone else's education? Whether the division existed in basketball or not, seems that the barn athletics was stinking pretty bad during those timeframes...

Bookmarked for after Auburn goes 3-0 against MSU in football and basketball in the 2016-17 school year

This is a great thread. Who sucks worse? Auburn or MSU? I guess we'll find out Saturday

As for the state of Alabama, it's probably the worst state in America. Fat, slow, hot, sticky, and stupid. They have one hell of a cfb team though!

Bowl, the thread troll was hysterical. I loved it. Where you ruin the thread experience is by trying to personally respond to everyone in the thread. It goes from being a funny troll by someone witty to becoming a shite show by a colossal D-bag.

Learn to troll better. More subtlety. Less inner thread activism.

I accept your constructive criticism. But next time pull the hook out of your mouth so you'll be easier to understand.

We weren't investigated because we didn't offer him money, dumbass. Cecil asked for money and admitted as much. He went to Auburn because State wouldn't pay him. Whether you payed or not is an unknown, but he didn't get it from us.

Well of course Mississippi State didn't offer him money.

Your boosters and alumni offered him money.

It's real easy to say you turned him down when he didn't end up at your school. Let's be real here, Auburn came in last minute and snagged him because he wanted to play at a real school and Mullen got butthurt and snitched.

Do you really think y'all payed a 3* CB hanging around NFL practice squads, but not a program changing 5* QB who your QB had coached before and knew his talents? That some "OJ didn't do it" level denial and delusion

Are you a mental midget? No one at State offered him money and then decided to turn him in. He admitted to asking for money after State turned him in. It takes a special kind of idiot to believe that a school would turn in someone for asking for 180K if they actually gave him what he asked for.

You really are the biggest dumb arse on this board. Is State going to forfeit the South Carolina game?

Lets be real, Auburn is historically the worst athletic program in the SEC West.
