That's really sad. Seriously.

Not really. Just another habit of a highly successful person.

I do find it a little funny that as soon as someone said "there's nothing in Alabama he can't get in Texas", three different people immediately went the BBQ route.

There are a lot of highly successful people that still know how to enjoy food and don't see it as simply utilitarian.

I never said that there wasn't. In this instance, a highly successful personal feels like sticking to a schedule. See above.

That being said, if anybody would leave that job it would be Saban. The man is never happy and I think he has a secret desire to be the coach that has titles at three different schools.

I think he enjoys the process of building a program from scratch more than anything.

LSU - nothing before him.

Dolphins - found out it isn't the same process in the NFL

Bama - starting from scratch after their sanctions for cheating.

Texas - once a decent program now torn down to Baylor levels.

University of Texas regent and a former regent spoke with Alabama coach Nick Saban's agent about Saban coaching the Longhorns if Mack Brown retired.

I wonder how many conversations Sexton has every year with different schools about coaches he represents.

Hasn't he said its a 5 years process?

He could do it, win another MNC at Texas then retire while being regarded as the GOAT without having to have Bowden or JoePa type win totals.
