Man. Rice and North Texas are going to get raked over the coals by the NCAA for this.

"The accusations against [insert student name], one of several new claims of academic misconduct involving [insert university name] athletes, illustrate how the university has appeared to let academically deficient players push the limits of its policy on academic integrity as it has sought to improve its teams' academic records.

Like many big-time programs, [insert university name] has dozens of athletes who came to the flagship campus unprepared for academic rigor. Keeping those players eligible without sacrificing academic standards is a balancing act that institutions are finding increasingly difficult to manage."

Well frickin' duh. What's disturbing is it took the learned minds of the "Chronicle of Higher Education" this long to catch on to it. "Athletes might be cheating! Shocking!"

Nothing will come of this

You just said no one cheats more than Texas and then gave zero examples of cheating.

Do you pull stuff straight out of your arse?

Here are 4 links, and each of them have a couple things in common...

(I realize they are a few years old, but I don't think either A&M or Texas have major violations since the linked articles were published.)

A&M is on every link, and Texas isn't on one of them. Keep up the propaganda Goebbels.

I would just like to point out every story about the longhorns that gets posted is mainly other teams besides the ags. And why would sec fans care about the lowly longhorns?

Carry on.

That lizard gif is awesome.

We used to see him do that all the time when he was at Clemson.

I still find the hidden humor in the frame frozen on the score.

Pretty sure Rick takes his name out of every SEC job opening since he has been at Texas.

So, UT is hiring more cheating mother fricking cheats to run their basketball program. The NCAA needs to shut the cheating cheats down.

Point to where Barnes was implicated. TIA.

Also, calm down, Don't project your cheating onto innocent programs.

Someone from another far-flung state had to break the local story. The sad part in all of this is it will get swept under the rug, again, by the state media.

No big deal. It happens everywhere. Texas is looking into it so we don't need to.

They're such homers it's tiresome.

"As she administered a final exam in remedial math at the University of Texas at Austin, she reportedly spotted a high-profile basketball player cheating."

Math is hard. It has numbers and stuff in it. And those take-a-ways, how anybody er gonna git 'em.
