So, UT is hiring more cheating mother fricking cheats to run their basketball program. The NCAA needs to shut the cheating cheats down.

"The university has no information that suggests former Men's Basketball Coach Rick Barnes knew of or was involved in any academic improprieties," reads Texas' statement on the allegations.

Texas is investigating the alleged misconduct and has been in contact with the NCAA, the university announced in a statement later Wednesday.

Must overlooked this in the article.

Here's the Chronicle article (below) doesn't look like the kind of thing that the NCAA would find anything. If anything, it looks like the kids cheated and maybe a few others but there's no connection to Barnes. Beyond that, UT-Austin would lawyer up so I'm not worried.

Actually not this time.

In fact this is a UT double play. Perfect drama for baseball season.

Freak nasty raping football players, Bev having sex with female athletes even their president having an affair with a student half his age while teaching.......all that happens is the lawsuits get dropped and the wronged become back door millionaires

Nothing will come of this

Agreed. It's more a kick to the nuts than a real threat. What's sad is Barnes is well known for not being a cheat and according to Chronicle of Higher Ed (the original report/article on this) this has nothing to do with him (no accusations were leveled against him). If anything, it has to do with their AD and tutoring system but I don't see much there even for them. At least not so far.
