If it were me making the decision, I would at least talk to Clemson's Brent Venables, a defensive mind who can really recruit. I would have to hear, however, who his OC would be.

If A&M hires Art Briles, they should close their doors. He didn't even get hired by a CFL team due to the public backlash.

I second the Venables idea if going after a coordinator.

No one has mentioned Mike Gundy. I hate the pokes but I think he is a great coach.

Lane to "hollywood" for CS. Think Chad will be the guy!

My Dad visited last week and drove through CS. He was surprised as to how much the city has grown. But still think Lane is to hollywood

Honestly, A&m would be better off trying to get back in the Big 12 to get to a playoff game. They would take A&m and Missouri/Arky in a heartbeat.
