Yep, these are much better story lines, IMO. Saban vs. his old team in their best season since he was there. Ingram is from Michigan. LSU-A&M is an old rivalry and there are a ton of LSU alums in the metroplex that will pay JerryWorld prices. Bama hasn't been to the Citrus Bowl since '94; they played in the Cotton in '05. LSU played in the Citrus last year but hasn't played in the Cotton since '04.

There are rumors that Cap1 is going to take USC if Auburn wins. I guess that would send Bama to the Outback.

I went to Bama and live in Dallas. My son just graduated from A&M. You have the most polite fans on the planet.

There will be a sellout in Dallas regardless of whether LSU or Bama goes. Either way it will be a damn good match up. I would love to make the Cotton Bowl trip again. I don't care who is in it. That was a fun weekend in Dallas.
