Everyone knows there’s a lot of bud light drinkers in college station.

Shouldn’t this be on the Soccer Board?
Sounds like it.

It I wanted to talk about gay stuff I'd be posting in an Arkansas basketball thread.

It’s a small as patch of grass. They probably won’t be as petty as y’all.

You don’t think Brazilian and Mexican soccer fans aren’t petty? It’s a friendly and the loser will probably still vandalize one of your statues, burn a bus, and ransack north gate.

Come on Farmer, you know it would be pretty cool if Neymar played at Kyle Field. That’s kinda wild it might happen. Too bad Mexico doesn’t have any big stars right now.

If both teams play their starters instead of their 2nd team, it will be a good game.

I wouldn’t mind watching the US play too one day at Kyle, but only if Pulisic plays.

Just heard this today on the radio. Whatever the current attendance record is this match would set a new one.. Would be massive for BCS tbh.

The current record is held by Michigan. I think we can land Top 5 in attendance if Kyle sells out.

I'm sure y'all are only bringing in the best of the best fans. "Show out" can mean a lot of different things when it comes to soccer fans.

I never understood why Kyle didn’t host more concerts or events during the summer when the stadium isn’t in use. It seems like a lot of college stadiums could make summer money by hosting concerts in the evening, avoiding the heat. I really hope the can sign a deal for the George Straight concert.

Looks like the soccer game is all but confirmed. I actually follow the Concacaf league, and I’m tired of soccer games like the US vs Mexico or Canada being played in Boston and Chicago, in baby size stadiums, in cold weather. I always wondered if US soccer picked doing games in the north and cold weather as a strategic advantage.

It's not the cold weather they are looking for, but rather, majority USA crowds. Hard to find that anywhere that has a big Mexican-American population as those folks tend to root for Mexico. I'm sure Mexico likes the prospect of about 90,000 Mexico fans in their match against Brazil.

Not interested in Soccer but George Strait at Kyle Field would be fun.

I might try to go to the soccer game. I was looking at the rosters, and only Mexico’s roster was up. I’m a fan of their goalie, Guillermo Ochoa. This will probably be his last stint/WC. For Brazil, I think guys like Neymar, Marcelo, Vinicius Junior might play. If you follow soccer, those are pretty big names.

The smell will be much worse in College Station than it is now.
