There there Aggie, I am sure y'all will proudly hang a banner and proudly display that Co Champ trophy while we place ours in a storage unit with the 47 other trophies. Enjoy the Co Champ Title Banner and Trophy

Does that make you feel better? If they both played the same schedule I would agree, as it is, they both had the same record, so it's a share. 47 - 1. Welcome to the SEC.

I do see a large Mizzou fans who seem to care greatly.
Their feud with Kansas has tainted their minds. At least they beat the GayHawks while they have to experience a win against the Cats. Missouri needs to stop saying KU = UK or this will not end well for them in the long run.

Doesn't work like that. If it was a 26 game schedule where every team played every other team on the road and at home, then it would work.
Football divisions are pretty fricking dumb too. SEC West champion should be determined by record in division.

Not necessarily. 11-1 Alabama is still better than a 3 loss Ole Miss. Playoff committee isn't going to select an SEC Champ because they are the SEC Champ. In most cases it works itself out, but in your scenario they would not have chosen Ole Miss.

There's no way an 11-1 Alabama team who didn't win their division again would've made the playoff over Ole Miss, Iowa, or Stanford, not after the 2011 shitstorm.
