Split titles are fricking stupid. Texas A&M, you beat Kentucky head-to-head, and I therefore grant you sole possession of SEC champion based upon the powers vested in me by being a third party. Plus, Kentucky already has enough.

So congrats Texas A&M, on being THE champion of SEC Men's Basketball.

UK also lost to the two lowest seeds in the SEC tournament.

Idk about Auburn, but any team that lost to this year's Basketvololol's shouldn't be winning a title of any kind.

Not a balanced schedule. Title is shared.

They lost by 2 on the road. That's basically a win.

No. That's a loss unless the SEC starts giving out participation trophies.

Georgia was up 24-3 on Tennessee in Knoxville, so that's basically a win for them amirite?

Mizzou basically won this game and were basically conference champions I guess.

We outplayed UF on the road for most of the game and were up 27-14 with 5 min left. Never been so pissed about a "win" in my life.

Trust me, my friend--if you are in a position to be "pissed about wins", you are much better off than Mizzou

We were there not long ago. Under Dooley (and Butch's first year with Dooley's leftovers) every single fricking win was a blessing. Those heartstoppers against Troy, UAB, and South Alabama tho

Yeah sure. The sec doesn't have a balanced schedule.

If you win the one game because you get it at home, a split is relatively fair. If they had played again in Lexington, Kentucky wins and they are outright champs!

I don't like Kentucky at all, but they are co-champs and the Aggies get the 1 seed. What is the issue?

Did A&M make the schedule? Or did they play the one that was made?

Sure it sucks for UK that they had to play on the road, but it is what it is. Texas A&M played their games and beat their "co champ". Seems straightforward to me.
