And yet y'all consider them a rival ?

I guess a rival to LSU are teams they beat regularly.

I would say we used to play them more frequently.

The definition of a rival is someone you are competing against for the same goal, winning the SEC. So I consider all the west teams and UF rival schools.

Probably because we won 6 in a row and LSU was scared to play us. So they dropped the series.

Also, FYI A&M is the only school that brags about beating LSU in the 90's

Even though LSU has the upper hand the last 5 years or so, I am glad to see LSU and A&M play each other again. Great series for the Gulf Coast

The Gulf War. Goddamnit I like it!

Too bad we're too PC to promote it as such

Means we'll have to promote it ourselves via word of mouth/social media.

The LSU/A&M series has way more emotions and potential than LSU/Arkansas could have ever dreamed of imo.

I concur. It's a powder keg waiting to go off based on recruiting/geography/history, IMO.

TAMU just needs to get its shite together and win a couple of games.

Just hire a really good defensive coordinator imo

He's gotta be the right guy, though. Hard to do with the type of offense we run. Very demanding on even the best of defenses.

Ain't gonna be an easy hire, but it's going to make a huge difference if we get the right guy in C-Stat.

I like LSU and Alabama's formula. Strong running and and good defense. LSU never seems to be able to develop a QB though under Miles and that is very frustrating. I'm not sold on LSU's OC tbh.

I do, too, to be quite honest with you. I just know that, especially coming from the big12, we didn't have the athletes/personnel/depth to grind it out week after week in the trenches with the likes of y'all. We're trending that way, but we're not there yet. Building that sort of program takes time. Hopefully we'll get to that point in the next few years.

This perplexes me. It's not like y'all need a Mariota to be lethal at QB.

Very interested to see how y'all do at QB next year. I think Cam might have better days in front of him.

This coincided with the violations that would put ATM on NCAA probation (again). Don't you realize that you are bragging about accomplishments your team made because they cheated?

ATM is historically one of the dirtiest programs in the NCAA. That is a fact. Being a fan of ATM is equivalent to being a fan of Miami or Bama but some people are okay with cheating to win a handful of games.

More like being a fan of Miami and Bama's little brothers, but yeah.
