Is a guard (or SF), technically. But House and him are both just 6'7. You dont want them trying to guard Victor and Simmons.

I am just listing PF/C

As pale as he looks in that photo, I'm afraid to know what his BAC was.

Jones isn't a traditional 4, but that's where he starts for A&M.

Jones plays the 4 for us as others have said. This definitely makes us thinner in the front court though. Really dumb decision on his part

Question about Simmons: Does he typically give effort on defense?

I've only seen him once, during the Arkansas game recently. It seemed as if he could not careless about playing defense. Was that just one game or something common for him?

He doesn't play center, and he's not a senior, you ignorant sons of bitches. His loss will hurt. Hopefully, he's back soon. This is a first time thing.

Hate to hear this. Hopefully he "gets it" and this will be his last.

(Maybe that's not a well-chosen emoticon.)

I guess you're just basing what you read online. If you've watched him play you know he play predominately a post player who can shot the outside shot.

Take a look at his shot chart.

As for House, he is a 2/3 all the way. He will rise up and shoot from anywhere.

This. Seriously there's no excuse here. He's a D1 basketball player, he could have called the team manager and gotten a ride home.

Yes and something call Car Pool which is a student run org for students for a free ride home from the bar or a party.

It just amazes me the poor choices some athletes make.

I haven't seen LSU or Simmons play, so I don't know who is best suited to defend them. I do know that 6'7 can guard often guard 6'10. It depends on body type, arm length, quickness, agility. It's about a lot more than just height.

Most of these kids were always the best where they grew up and could literally get away with anything.

He's, a good defensive player and has gotten better over the season. The Arky game isn't one to go by really go byu, his effort level in general was very low till the last few minutes, he had been fighting the flu though so that may have had something to do with effort level in general. He airmailed like 2 FTs that game and he never just allows a short guard like Anton Beard to blow by for an easy layup (and pitiful foul he made on that). He just wasn't himself that game.
