this is the last time A&M plays SMU from a 4 game home and home series.
both schools actually were trying to get out of it (SMU wanted an easier game, A&M wanted another home game) but couldn't find suitable replacements.
last years Rice game was supposed to be a one off but they recently agreed to a home and home deal with A&M playing Rice at Reliant in 2019.

We can't schedule them until their daddy Texas says it's ok. They can't afford to piss of UTex. They haven't learned that UTex dosen't care about them and will step on them to get what they want. So we are stuck with the other Texas schools that don't have a connection with the B12

Nothing wrong with staying in Texas if you schedule some of the bigger boys. Florida scheduled Miami and you should be able to schedule Baylor or TCU.
TCU and Baylor are the big boys now? We have a 24 game win streak against TCU, and are 23-2-1 in our last 26 against Baylor.

So, effectively University of Texas still controls A&M's OOC schedule by dictating who A&M is and isn't allowed to play? Sounds like UT is still A&M's Daddy too - so sad.

The only Big 12 school that has openly talked about football games with A&M is Texas Tech. I'm fairly confident there will be a series with them in the near future. There has been some word that TCU is a potential partner as well.
For a series with Baylor or Texas to happen there will have to be a lot of turnover in all three schools leadership before anyone will be willing to talk again. Baylor more so than Texas IMO.
here is the current future OOC for A&M FWIW
2014
09/06 - Lamar
09/13 - Rice
09/20 - at SMU
11/01 - ULM
2015
09/05 - Arizona State (at Houston, TX)
2016
09/10 - Louisiana Tech
11/12 - UTSA
2017
11/11 - New Mexico
2018
09/15 - at Oregon
2019
09/14 - Oregon
11/02 - UTSA
TBA - at Rice

You act like there isn't a gentleman agreement among the big 12 to never play us again. The only school from that conference it looks like well play again is tech

No we would love to play any of them but they WON'T play us. They took their ball and went home when their daddy told them to.

Hopefully, You and Texas settle your differences one day. You guys should be having a Rivalry weekend like the schools in the SEC east. Then you don't have worry about people criticizing your OOC schedule.

If UT owns the entire State of Texas leaving A&M with no influence or control over anything there, maybe A&M should relocate to another state where it can exert at least a bit of influence - Maybe New Mexico or one of the Dakotas?

You are straight crushing skullzzzzz right now

You're trying too hard.

Meh...they have all the West teams along w/ Mizzou and SCAR from the East. That's enough to make their schedule non-creampuff regardless of their OOC opponents, IMO.
But I will say, I'm 48 and know CFB pretty well, and I've never heard of Lamar? Are they new to FCS? Are they a college that used to have another name or what?

Yeah that's a great idea maybe we will move into Louisiana. The Big 12 schools with the exception of Tech are to scared of Bellmont to go against them. So we are left with the other Texas schools who aren't affiliated with the Big 12. I know it's hard for you to comprehend but it's ok I know your education wasn't all that good.

I'm surprised I could even type this out because I'm so mad I can't see straight.

You'd be welcome of course. Maybe the Aggies could try and get an in-state rivalry going with Tulane, La Tech or ULL. Those schools have long-running, in-state inferiority complexes too.

Keep on crushing

Lamar is FCS new blood. So right now, they are the equivalent of a Division 2 team. They aren't as bad as Georgia State though.
