Notre Dame just seems out of place on this list. I guess it must be more Irish than Catholic.

You are correct. I went to the ND V USC game for the Reggie Push. It was a fantastic gameday atmosphere. The tailgating, along with the historical campus, was fascinating. Very different then LSU of course. I mean, one of the tailgates I went to had a sushi bar. I went with a friend who grew up in South Bend and I have never been treated better. This all coming from a guy who hates ND and wants to see them fail at everything.

Just because things are more prevalent and well known at A&M, like being academically superior to everyone in the SEC but Vandy, sending more soldiers in World War 2 than anyone else(and more than the service academies combined), the loudest stadium in the SEC, being the first public University in the greatest state in the Union, etc. etc.... doesn't mean we don't have the best tailgating as well.

Really? Tell us more. How much is your endowment? How many Medal of Honor awardees went to TAMU? Do you have a presidential library on your campus? Do you by chance have a pep rally the night before a game that usually draws thousands of people? There is so much about TAMU left unanswered!

I've been to A&M, LSU, & Ole Miss.

Ole Miss hands down & I am a tiger fan. LSU is 2nd. I am not going to even list A&M.

Can we trade another conference for atm while their value is high? They'll be back to a laughing stock within 5yrs. Right now to see them being egomaniacs is halarious.

They spend their whole life justifying why they went to atm and how awesome it is there; meanwhile 90% of the time it's because they didn't get into UT. They come on SEC rant trying to reinvent themselves, but I lived in Texas and everyone there is a UT fan. Only ATM fans are the ones who went there.

Now that I think about it, I am pretty sure the tailgating at LSU baseball is > A&M

Was at Bama ATM this year. Arguably their biggest home game in their history. Atmosphere/set up/everything was rather underwhelming. I'd say it is a lot like Auburn, just uglier. LSU /ole miss/Bama are all miles ahead of college station.

THIS.

Lots of media types went to that game for their first ATM experience. Their biggest game ever is not a fair comparison. LSU out tailgates them against a Rent-a-win team. Any aggie who thinks they're better, come to the LSU-ATM game next month and walk away knowing.

I was at the A&M game last year. The tailgating was surprisingly good. I would have them in my top 5 that I've been to but they still aren't in LSU's league. I've seen lots of posts by A&M fans and none of them relevant to tailgating. Stop fricking posting about head coaches, stadium upgrades, heismans, etc. LSU's tailgating was just as fricking good when we sucked arse.

Nebraska not being top 10 is funny as well. They use their entire campus like LSU does and there are a shite ton of people that go out there.

LSU and Bama's spots on this list is a joke. Of course, Aggy at #1 goes beyond comprehension. What a lame tailgate that was.

You realize you went before A&M was considered "good", right? A decade plus of mediocrity, and half a season of Johnny Football, and we still tailgated like champions.
