Tennessee's national relevance

Most pundits think UF win is meaningless because they're an overrated scrub. Will Tennessee be in the national spotlight after the road win at UGA? I personally think no one will give UT credit unless we win @A&M.

define national spotlight. Tennessee is ranked #11. Of course the national media isn't fawning over UT after one good win. Tennessee struggled against App State and Ohio and really against VT until they started to turn the ball over every possession. You don't just jump into the national spotlight after one win when you haven't looked like a national contender in any other game.

We barely squeaked by Nicholls St. and Misery and just got beat like a rented mule by Ole Miss. You think anyone will be impressed by a UT win over us? You Vowels seem a little insecure about your place in the universe.

When we beat A&M people will just say they were overrated, just like 2014. We'll have to beat Bama in order for them to look at us as legit contenders

Fair enough. Odd though when Tennessee is being massively overrated their fans seem to think it is some sort of dream season that isn't being respected by the national press.

Mizzou jumped in the conference at the right time, I'll give em that. The East was at an historical low.
