Most pundits think UF win is meaningless because they're an overrated scrub. Will Tennessee be in the national spotlight after the road win at UGA? I personally think no one will give UT credit unless we win @A&M.

No, we took care of that last week

Gotta beat A&M to wash away App St....Bama to declare "Vols are back"

Teams with more than two conference championship game appearances last ten years...

Alabama 5
Missouri 4
Florida 4

As has been noted over and over and over, the former UT AD saw a bright shiny thing -- Lane Kiffin.

He should have let this bright shiny thing alone, because LK was sure to bolt back to USC if an opportunity appeared which it promptly did.

Having fired Coach Fulmer less than a year after he won the East, this horrible putz of an AD had to settle for the very very very second rate Derek Dooley. Disaster ensued.

Now, after 8 years or so, UT may be coming out from under this cloud of disaster.

If UT wins 2 of its 3 next games, idiot comments like yours will hopefully go the same way all the idiot bluster of the UF fans went after last Saturday.

7-1 with wins over Florida, Georgia, and A&M. Sounds a lot like a season back in 2013 that was mocked countless times by UT fans as "East is down". So I ask again why would your scenario be any different? East is down right?

You'll never win the East again. You caught the East at an historical low, something it will never be again. Get back to me when you win an SEC Championship. We don't claim East championships, but I can understand you doing so being a Mizzou fan.

You have to beat a team with national relevance to get national relevance. This year's UF squad is not going to show up on that radar. Beat Bama and that changes.

Hurd/Tamara/Dobbs Will be bottled up by the Aggies. I have zero concern about the Texas Aggie D handling them.

I wouldn't count out UF just yet. You lost to a damn good team, no shame in that.

Let me get this straight. Your fans are jumping for joy about beating Florida, possibly at Georgia, and possibly at Texas A&M and winning the East. Why is the East not still at the exact same historical low?

2013
Beat #17 5-2 FLA
Beat #7 4-1 GA, at GA
Beat #24 Ole Miss
Beat #19 A&M with Heisman trophy winning QB

But but East was historically low.

LOL

Once again, it is not our fault that Missouri has 0 national respect. You don't have to lash out at us

So where exactly are Florida, Georgia, Mizzou, Vandy, Kentucky, and South Carolina going to end up this year?

Will there be two top 5 teams at the end of the season? Only time will tell. Otherwise maybe it will be another all time historical low.

The big 3 in tEast have never been that bad at the same time, so yeah the East was historically low.

Oh I'm not saying UF is complete trash but no one was really picking them to do much this year which is why I don't think the Vols win really resonated with many outside of SEC country.

You guys will most likely win the East of you take care of business tomorrow but I think even that doesn't matter to people because the East has been trounced by the West the last several seasons. It's Bama's fault, really. Everyone just pencils them in to win the SEC so no one in the national media gets excited about any other teams in the conference

Sorry South Carolina and Missouri don't live in 1999 both were 11-1. Both finished top 5. I respect Georgia and Florida's recent history, your team however is the joke.
