After finding another article ranking SEC teams by donations (it didn't give totals, just rankings from amounts raised) I edited my post to say that it, most likely, was a misprint by The State and that it probably was referring to revenue earned and not donations.
The State is notorious for doing things like that.

You come up pretty short.
Texas A&M was #1 at $93.6M for 2014.
This number is probably misleadingly low because many Aggies, myself included donate to the the 12th Man Foundation which is a private entity. It took a lot of cash to build 500+ million in football facilities.
Our "big brother" texas university took in a paltry $41 million.

Your 12th man donations were 22+ million for equal comparison to the OP's and 70+ million for major gifts(Stadium pledging coming to fruition on the year)

ETA, on this after finding out what the op's actual number was including would be the 92/3 million from A&M

I said "probably" which is a qualifier but the Aggies are still #!.
It took a lot more than $94 million to pay for the football facility implosion and rebuilding we have done at over $500M expenditure. We didn't make the seats narrower like Tennessee did.
I don't have as much free time as you evidently do.

Actually the correct number is 92,914,568, to be precise, the number you quoted includes non donation revenue

I paid UT $24 for 3 people to tour Neyland a month ago. I did my share to help UT out of it's financial crunch.

You aren't paying $500 million in cash for those facilities though, A&M financed the renovations with bonds. Same as every other school.

I think that might not be donations, your year end 2014 numbers were 28.5 million. could be though, but I think it includes other revenue.

The Razorback foundation (our private fundraising arm) raised $47m in the 2014-2015 fiscal year, which set a record. I'm sure that includes the land donation etc.
Typically athletic donations are about 1/4 or less of overall university donations excluding grants.
Texas A&M, having the largest alumni base, should also have the largest donations. Athletic donations are heavily influenced by required minimum donations for ticket purchases however.

FTR, UT's year end '14 numbers were 22.6 million, so I am guessing the op's number is not donations only or they had a large donation this year
