I saw where it came from

The hard part about this, and comparing schools in general with revenue, expenses, etc.. is they all do it differently and they use different terms. They also like to combine numbers to make it sound better in comparison.

However most schools in the SEC are closer than you would think, when comparing apples to apples

Yeah the wording made it sound like they were combining numbers from somewhere.

It was a Tennessee fan that started the dick measuring.

DGAF about the accounting technicalities.

And to the LSU fans that always start the "lil bro" talk:

There is one top 20 research institution between the east coast and the west coast and it is in College Station, Texas.

Texas Aggies support our team win or lose and enough to tear down a major part and rebuild and expand to have the largest and most technically advanced stadium in the SEC.

So go ahead and find a technicality to bitch about.

More from that Texas Constitution:

quote:

Sec. 13. AGRICULTURAL AND MECHANICAL COLLEGE. The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, established by an Act of the Legislature passed April 17th, 1871, located in the county of Brazos, is hereby made, and constituted a Branch of the University of Texas, for instruction in Agriculture, the Mechanic Arts, and the Natural Sciences connected therewith.
