The entire body of work is what you need to look at. Sure, they beat some bad teams, but these would have been potential losses 2-3 years ago. So that's definitely an improvement. However, the losses tell a lot too. No team has been just flat out better. OU, Bama, and even Iowa games in the past year indicate that they are very close to being a top 10-15 team which is where I suspect they'll be in 2016. They're probably the best team in the East right now and I'm sure Bama is happier to be playing Florida than they would be if it were Tennessee.

I have no doubt that one year you'll be right. It wasn't this year though and you spouted off lots.

2015
Scoring differential: +13.2
Total Offense: 423 (5th)
Total Defense: 370 (8th)
Turnover Margin: +3
Punt Return Avg: 18.2
Kick Return Avg: 33.4
Wins: 8-9
SEC Wins: 5
Offense only loses two starters and will have a Sr. QB and even more new top talent (Mecole Hardman I'm looking at you). Also North and Croom will be back healthy.
Defense only loses 2 starters and will get Gaulden, Phillips, Tuttle, ect back from injury and will add another boatload of talent.
Next year will be the best roster TN has had since 2001 and I really don't believe that is any stretch.
If we aren't winning 10+ games and in the SEC Title discussion LATE in the year if not winning it we have a problem.

The team has improved, the fans obviously have not.

I don't always believe all the shite I talk on the Rant. Some of it maybe. Although I talked a lot about how we were going to crush you, I wasn't surprised in the slightest by the way the game ended. In fact, I called the final score as soon as UF converted the 1st fourth down of their drive that cut it to 6. Last year I called the final score as soon as Worley fumbled at the end of the 3rd. Although I think we'll be the better team with Grier out at home, I won't be surprised at all if we lose again. I also won't be surprised if we win.
