I'm not having it both days. The First Amendment only applies to the government regulating free speech. If you don't agree with how the Constitution applies, take it up with the SCOTUS. If a group of private citizens wants to try to block them, there is nothing the 1st Amendment can do to prevent that. Now, if they break the laws of the state of TN in the process, then yes, they can be prosecuted as such.

Well then try not to sound ignorant and reference the 1st Amendment. It doesn't help your argument

not having it both ways, bud. It's ok if you don't understand how the Constitution works and when it applies. Just trying to help you out for the future

so you hate the Constitution or just don't agree with how it's applied? Sounds like a personal problem to me

I'm wondering why you're trying to have it both ways still.

You seem like a good poster...just letting you know you're going into the rabbit hole with USMC Gators (korin). Soon, you'll be arguing bowl games and then the national champion in 1947. I've seen it a hundred times.

So much for the first amendment.

I'm not seeing any state action restricting your speech. The first amendment is not absolute and it does not apply to private citizens.

Private citizens however are free to treat you however they want. You say offensive stupid shite then you better be ready to accept any consequences of that.

And if they physically attack the protesters then they must be ready to accept consequences as well.

I'm still wondering why you don't want the Constitution applied how it's intended to be applied. I only want the laws of TN and the United States applied appropriately. Now, if you want to argue why the actions of private citizens are illegal pursuant to TN law, then i'd be more than happy to entertain that argument if you provide the statutory code they'd be breaking. Unfortunately you're too stubborn to admit your own ignorance to how exactly the First Amendment applies. That's ok, it's not unusual for you to go off on an irrelevant and illogical tangent when you've been shown to be ignorant on a topic.

Well sure. But if the protestors had jobs then firing them based on the protesting or other similar action is perfectly fine.

absolutely. That would not, however, fall under a First Amendment violation. That's a violation of TN state law.

And that goes for the people who potentially attack them as well.
