Aggies don't have a chance against the annual offseason champions.

I can definitely see A&M pulling an upset but I think we win barely.

How can anyone predict the outcome of a game that'll be played in October, much less attach an actual score to it?

Off-season. I get that .

But tSECr prediction threads are the strangest, most nonsensical conversations on this board--more so than "which campus has the most magnificent trees?"

Too early. It seems like Tennessee is the popular pick in the East and TA&M could be a "surprise" team. When I say a surprise team, I don't mean they will win the West or anything, but they might pull out an upset or two and I would consider beating Tennessee an upset, which is a likely upset.

Based upon the last several years of volunteer's predictions, I think the safest thing to do is sit back and see what they believe the outcome would be......and then go the complete opposite direction.

It will be interesting to see how Garrett and Barnett do for their respective teams.

Tennessee was 2nd in tSEC in rushing at 223 YPG last year.

Aggy was 13th in tSEC allowing 213 YPG.

Chavis is going to shite himself trying to stop the 3 headed monster that is Dobbs, Hurd and Kamara.

Nah, its the only time people show their cards on this forum. On these threads it's easy to spot an Aggie hater, or a Tenn fan that isn't confident about Butch, or just someone who prefers one type of football over another.

The Vols have a solid running attack and the Aggies have a suspect run defense.

So the signs point to the Vols but...

Can Dobbs pass enough to keep the Aggies back and will Jones find his arse with both hands and a road map and put together a winning game plan?

On the road with a Tennessee team that has talent but is a bit shaky at times I like the Aggies unless they are in a complete tailspin to start off the year.

The Aggie team that finished last year loses by three touchdowns. An Aggie team that hasn't collapsed emulates Arkansas and wins a close, but somehow dominant, game.

Solid point.

Tennessee may destroy us.
We may destroy them.
I haven't a freakin' clue.
How anyone can have such a strong opinion either way is a head-scratcher.
Message board banter, I guess .

Tennessee will be the biggest disappointment in college football this year.

Aggies beat them by 10, then get murdered by Bama.
