You're probably thinking of RB Carlin Fils-Aime but I don't think we 'baught' him.
The U wasn't very interested in him until later in the process and he'd been a long time commit to us. Byrd was actually his roommate and they consider themselves brothers so while it was a surprise when Byrd flipped it wasn't as big of one as it appeared on the surface. CFA had been recruiting Byrd pretty hard to come with him to UT.

I'm not going to bash UT for off-season championships. The only fanbase acting obnoxious is the LSU fanbase after their recruiting "off-season" championship.
