Tennessee made a very good hire today

Hoke made Michigan's defense line great again after the west virgina hick drove it into the ground.
We went from having the 120th ranked defense in 2010 to having the 19th ranked defense in 2011 (hoke's first year). Hoke had a top 15 defense every year at michigan, led by elite DL play, and in his awful final year the defense was ranked 6th to end the year.
Michigan's number one ranked defense this year was due to hoke recruits and hoke development on the DL. He has an amazing eye for DL talent and he can coach them up.
He will also recruit extremely well to that position.
He will also make tennesee recruiting great again. There is a new recruiting sheriff in town, SEC. Better get those bagmen ready to offer more.

Greg Mattison was probably involved with the DL as well. He was really good at UF.
There is a reason Harbaugh kept him around.

So Hoke gets credit for the D the year after he left but RichRod doesn't? Seems fair. I hope Hoke doesn't buy in Knoxville. That Life Contract is only for a year.
