Tennessee is planning to Checker Neyland for the Florida game.....again

The fan vote came down to the wire with Florida barely edging out Alabama. Tennessee is 0-2 in checker Neyland games, blowing late 4th quarter leads to Florida and Oklahoma both times.

What's wrong with it? It looks cool and gets the fans involved
I put that on the same level as "we should never wear those jerseys again, we lost in those". Kinda silly IMO.

Yeah the atmosphere is electric and it's nice to look at but I'm sure if the streak continues, this will be what gets blamed.
Maybe the third time is the charm. That's what happened with the smokey gray uniforms

The obvious answer here is to only checker the stadium for the first 3 quarters and then have everybody scatter at the beginning of the 4th during a timeout.

It looks good and fans like it. We may well be cursed when it comes to Florida but it has nothing to do with what our fans choose to wear to the game. Of that much, I'm sure.

Blackout looked cool also. And I agree with doing them.
People love to over analyze stupid crap. Our team was not ready to play. It didn't have anything to do with colors of our jerseys or colors fans have on.
And we were actually winners in Black jerseys.
