UGA, Mizzou and UK. We lost to all three. They also beat a BGSU team that would have beaten us by double digits. I am not a Vol fan, but we have no room to talk.

Vols played it close with a lot of good teams this year. Oklahoma took until overtime and a 14 point 4th quarter by them to win.

Alabama won by 5, but in regulation.

That's impressive considering both will be in the playoff this year.

It really is. I think it speaks to our youth and depth situation. I've said it countless times but our first 11 are as good as anyone's but our next 11 aren't. It's that depth and youth that comes into play late in the game and all of our losses have been late into the game.

Also, if you could answer my question that would be great.

Other than Georgia and Bowling Green? Nobody. It's not our fault the rest of our opponents sucked.

This is my point. They started out highly ranked, lost their big games, and now are all cocky because they beat down the 4 worst teams in the SEC. Hell, it was a 'Bama fan who pointed that out even before they went on the streak that the Vols optimism would be revived.

Both have losing records. That's not beating anyone.

We have plenty of room to talk. Just because we have a bad football team doesn't meant we can't have opinions about other teams.

If I came in here talking about SC being better or something that would be a different story.

If they didn't suck you wouldn't have beaten them.

Cocky? Hardly, but whatever takes the focus off your dumpster fire program

Well certainly relative to the previous 7 years or so.

What? Take the focus off? Is our next hire dependent on how much I, tGW, pay attention?

You act as if we started in the top 10. We started top 22-25 in most polls or unranked. If we win our bowl then that's probably where we finish. You play who's on your schedule. That's all you can do. We beat one of our big rivals as well. Even most non- retarded bama fans can see this team is on the rise. Look in this thread for proof

You wouldn't come in here talking about Carolina being better because they're he worst team in the SEC

Don't tell me what to do. I told you I'd change it as soon as UF scores an offensive touchdown.

Tennessee is easily the second best team in the SEC.

You got blown out by an East team that we only lost to by a point at the last second.

There have been a LOT of mediocre to bad teams in CFB this year. There's a reason the NCAA is having to accept some 5-7 teams into bowls. The SEC east is just one example, look at 2/3 of the Big Ten and the ACC. I won't pretend that this year was chock full of quality wins for us over quality teams, and certainly the question "who did you beat?" can be asked, but the same is true for a lot of other teams in or near the top 25. There are enough unimpressive teams in CFB right now that plenty of teams, some in the top 25, have 8-10 wins, but maybe only 1 or 2 that really stand out.

Technically isn't Oklahoma 2nd because they have one 7 point loss to Texas?

You lose your opinion when you make the conference look bad and lose to a mediocre FCS team like The Citadel. Stick to talking about your own team.
