10 combined points in regulation.

This is second in the league behind Alabama.

Only a handful of FBS teams have lost by fewer combined points.

Pre-Offseason number one team.

Vols played it close with a lot of good teams this year. Oklahoma took until overtime and a 14 point 4th quarter by them to win.

Alabama won by 5, but in regulation.

That's impressive considering both will be in the playoff this year.

Appreciate it, but we're 8-4, and we are what our record says we are.

You sound like Bama fans under Shula. Grasping at straws and shite.

And Shula took over a probation laden team.

Look what he's doing at Camolina now. With only a Qb to work with.

I'm only mentioning it because there's a certain Clemson fan here who tries to bring up our close win over Tennessee as some kind of negative, but also completely ignores Oklahoma's miracle comeback and double overtime game with you guys.

He also ignores the worst team in the SEC scoring 32 on Clemson and Clemson only winning by 5.

He'll vanish like a fart in the wind after Clemson loses to UNC this weekend.

Tennessee is the only East team I could see giving Bama a game in Atlanta. Two of their losses to playoff teams, one to UF with Grier and the other to Arky. You don't have to like UT to admit that Clemson, Sparty and Iowa all could have multiple losses with their schedule.

Against good teams and you guys have a fairly young roster still. Not using it as an excuse, because Jones is at fault for screwing up in late-game situations, but it's not a bad year.

If the same shite happens next year, then hell yeah, you guys need to show up with pitch forks and torches

Arky alone would beat Clemson and Iowa pretty easily.

Tennessee is by far the best team in the SEC East and also the most unlucky. Florida is an average, lucky team.

Seriously though, who did UT beat of note? UGA I guess by 7 without Chubb. The only other bowl team the Vols beat was BG.

I would love for you to tell me what that has to do with anything.

I'll wait for your well-reasoned response.

eta: Also, if you could answer my question that would be great.

UT is a losing program that doesn't know how to win. Lyle Jones is a loser.
