LOL, off the field problems? You stay locking up the 4 man rape teams and we'll stay locking up the elite talent in the state that won't look your way. Back to back 9 win seasons and your HC is shitting all over all 7 of you by interviewing for other jobs. #DestinationJob

The sad thing is vandys little brother syndrome is so bad they can't enjoy their successes without thinking about the Vols.

The sad thing is that defensive Vol fans can't grasp that Vandy's replacing Tennessee as the dominant program in the state is a huge part of their success. So yeah, Tennessee's suckage is a relative component of their happiness.

I guess people really do believe this.

Good for Vandy's recent success. To think they are replacing UT as the dominant program in the state is silly.

Why? Sure, it's reasonable to expect Vol fans to be defensive and protective. But what tangible evidence can you provide to demonstrate otherwise? Vandy has a better team, more publicity, more excitement. And yeah, Tennessee has a highly ranked class, but until Sgt. Carter proves that he can actually do something with them, it means nothing more than some of those overrated classes of the past. I see more Vandy gear on a daily basis here in middle Tennessee than I see Vols gear.

That is probably the case in Nashville/Murfresboro, but simply not true throughout the rest of the state.

All over middle Tennessee., even over an hour from Nashville. But I could be wrong...I only see about 2,000 high school kids every day. And when you get into the Memphis area, there's more fans of a variety of programs, given their close proximity.

Excellent troll job but not true. Ratio of seeing Vol gear to Vandy gear is still 99:1 in Nashville. I expected to see at least some gains by Vandy but it didn't happen.

Nashville is a carbon copy of Knoxville, power T's are everywhere. Only difference is I see some Bama and Auburn gears.

I'm not being defensive or protective. I understand you can stand behind Vandy beating UT the last two years or Vandy having a better record the last five years as your evidence.

Vandy has a better team: sure, at the moment. At their pinnacle they are winning irrelevant bowl games and finishing 4th in the East. They don't have more publicity that I've seen, maybe you are seeing something different.

To those who say UT is a dead program, college football has changed, etc...that's fine except for the obvious fact that college football has changed quite a bit since its inception. I think UT has adapted to those changes pretty well and had very few down periods. Unfortunately,we are in one right now. Will it last? I will go with no.

Of course I can't predict what the future holds, but I would bet the farm on UT again competing for SEC/East championships and possibly more. I don't think Vandy will have to worry about that anytime soon.
