Talking to the App State fans, they think he's gonna be gone after this season. They won't won't be able to afford him.

I'm still upset you didn't suicide your account had app state won.

I was legit contemplating it when we were losing early in the 4th

And to answer OP, I'm not worried, because we won't play THAT poorly again this week. Absolutely no way that we do. To me, VT and App State are opponents of comparable skill, but we played as if App was some scrub D3 team that we could beat just by showing up. Damn near fricked us over big time.

Besides the loss to OM, only two teams kept Bammer's winning margin to single digits.

Not to hijack the thread but I read an interesting article the other day about coaches and winning close games (games decided by less than one score).

Saban is 17-14 (.548) with Bama.

Jones is 6-9 (.400)

Bret is 3-10. (.231).

USC also quit on them selves and their coaches on that game once they got down a little bit. Hard to predict that

Told my wife after the first TD pass to go up 7-3 that Bama had just scored enough points to win the game. Watson and Clemson couldn't score 38 points until a last minute drive when Bama was in prevent. Ole Miss needed two fumbled kickoffs and a fluke pass bounce off a player's helmet to score that many. The notion that USC was ever going to score 38 points is just an example of what you get with some of these writers who barely take the time to rub two brain cells together before making their rankings or predictions.
