Of course UGA fans will have extras to sell. My point was that it will be highly unlikely for a UGA fan to sell their tickets to a tennessee fan, at any reasonable price anyway.

Unless you're selling your seats and you hate the guy you were going to sit next to

y'all must just like us tigers better. These were the seats sold to me by a UGA fan while I was decked out in purple and gold

pic doesn't work but I realize there's good hearted folks out there.

I sit in a great section but every big game there's always people scattered about from the other team...blows me away that long time UGA season ticket holders would sell their tickets to opposing fans but oh well. That's just not something I would ever do.

And you're right, probably a small part of it is that we dont' really have any ill will towards LSU. Selling to a UT fan would be different if I had to guess.

Scalping is always cheaper if you wait until an hour or less before kickoff. It's basic economics.

y'all haven't won in sanford since 2006. Let that sink in.

Fulmer was still a few years away from being canned.
Joe Tereshinski started for us, and a true freshman matt stafford came in after.

Is scalping at the Sanford stadium cheaper than Stubhub? Cheapest ticket at Stubhub is like $160.

The weather had a lot to do with it, but last year Bama tickets were selling for about 50 bucks on the bridge before kickoff. Those were 300+ on stubhub the week before

Phil, I'd suggest just beating up a dawg Phan and taking his tickets. Worked for me the time I was in Athens.

Short answer, yes. You will get a ticket for that game for much less than $160 if you put any effort at all into scalping

When I was a kid I scalped (really just sold extra tix we had) UT-BAMA tix for 100 bucks no questions asked by the buyer other than 'are these good seats'. The Bama guy was happy as hell to buy them and that was when we had the streak. And that was fairly expensive for the time.

Buying decent scalped tickets can cost a lot, especially when there's a rivalry or big game. It's easy to buy the cheap seats but good ones cost more.

The UGA-UT game should be huge this year and UGA peeps are excited with their new hire. Not surprising tix would go for a lot.
