Nope - the young kid has been cool a a fricking cucumber leading this offense.

I think that Neyland will be a completely different animal and talent wise, I think this Tennessee team is better than Ole Miss. If they can get it together and not play so slipshod, they can take this one down to the wire.

Go with what you're thinking then and throw your money on the Vols.

He's incredibly mature for a freshman. He's got all of the tools to be an elite QB, similar to Watson. But he's still got a long way to go and refine his game. If he can get a better touch on his passes, he'll be lethal.

And really, we haven't had a QB that could consistently hit deep balls since AJ. I don't think our line is as dominant in recent years, but it's still better than most, and Hurts' wheels add a weapon that can hide those deficiencies.

When hurts has faced pressure he's been horrible. Something like 20% passing completion rate.

Barnett and Vereen are fixing to get him rattled early and often.

Kirkland JR being back is a huge boost to TN D as I think he was and is our best LB by far. He and Jumper will be very good Sat.

Dobbs has been lights out against the blitz since the UF game and Kamara is about to explode against his former team.

TN took an L last week an knows now they can't start slow and have turnovers and will lock in and play their best game.

Yeah. There is some small concern. He's got an absolute cannon for an arm, yet for some reason has underthrown a handful of deep balls this year. He had two passes to two different TEs on Saturday that would have gone for TDs if they were thrown better.

He's waiting too long to throw it and the receivers have outrun the spot by the time he releases it. If he improves his read time and anticipation he will be elite. Some QBs are never able to get this part down despite all the arm talent in the world. I think he will.

Bama's rushing attack will be too much for the Vols tired defense. Tennessee will keep it close for a half, Bama will pull away in the 2nd half and win 34-17.

He also barely been pressured. You need to be worried if UT can stop Bama's run game. Yes Dobbs has played well but he isn't as good as a passer as Kelly or Allen. Regardless I expect this to be a tough game.

I normally have no problem getting excited for this game but not so this year. Injuries have decimated this team.

Do you think they could cover the -13 spread?

Yes. But personally, I wouldn't touch this game.

Listen to him, don't do it man. UT is unpredictable and we all know rivalry games can be unpredictable as well. Too many x-factors going on here.

hurts has ice in his veins and a short memory. his very first college snap was a fumble returned for a touchdown. he proceeded to kick the shite out of USC in Cowboy stadium. We got down like 21 to ole miss, he proceeded to lead the team to a 45 to 6 scoring run, right after another fumble touchdown (hit that caused the fumble should have been either targeting or roughing the passer). I have absolutely no concerns about hurts, he has the mentality of a 5th year senior, and hes getting better and better as a passer each game.

UT is gonna put up points. I'd say 30-40 is likely.

Too many injuries and UT is too unpredictable to bet on this one for me. I honestly think they could beat or lose to just about anyone in the country.

Nothing notable for Alabama. Foster and Taylor should be able to play

Neither guy practiced yesterday. I wouldn't be so sure about them playing this week. Unless you know something the beat reporters didn't see yesterday.

They weren't out practicing during the media viewing portion of practice. Doesn't mean they didn't practice. Saban likes to trick people when it comes to injuries. Though he did say they would likely be back yesterday.

More power to Tennessee if they can, but Bama is not your ordinary winning football program. They capitalize on opponents' weaknesses and with Tennessee 's defensive injuries don't expect Bama to hold anything back.

Also, unlike any other SEC team (even including Florida) Bama has a solid, punishing defense. Tennessee won't put up 700 yards against the Tide
