For a mild concussion they would have observed him in the ER or a normal hospital bed at most. You dont put someone in the ICU and take up an ICU bed to observe a mild concussion no matter who you are
Well, technically, reports indicate that they were going to put him in ICU but they were full, so he was just put in a private room.

I think it will be a night game though.

Well in that case here's to a 3:30 game, and the 11-5 or 6 record you bring with it.

I thought CBS was putting this one at 8/7

I am not sure what other SEC games they have that week, but a night game on CBS works for me.

It scared the ever living crap out of me last night. When I saw his arms drop and go flaccid and then his labored breathing, I thought for sure he had broken his neck. I just dont want to see or any kid re-injured or worse because he or someone else feels he needs to play. It is just a damn game. In one or two years it will be all but forgotten.
I just fear if he plays against LSU he may get really hurt. If he plays I dont think I will watch the game.

I really doubt he'll play against LSU if he's not ready. If it was something like a muscle strain or broken finger then maybe Meyer would let him tough it out. I don't think thats going to happen with a head injury.

It is definitely going to be scary for every fan if he plays, especially that first hit he takes. If Tebow plays, he is going to play like Tebow, and I am sure that is something the coaches will think about.

You must have missed the 4 games where we had a complete lack of pressure on the QB.

That just means you'll be sure to finally get pressure when the QB with the head injury comes to town.

I watched y'alls defense yesterday and it's not the LSU game I am worried about but some of the other games they have on the schedule.
Sorry...I had to. I was just kidding but you know that shite was

Assuming it doesn't rain, LSU does not have jet lag, LSU does not have a 4 hour delay and unable to "walk through" or any other excuses the ultimate optimist LSU fan says about the last 4 weeks.

Serious question. Is Tebow's blood type A+ ? I just can't imagine him being anythng else.

No one knows, Tebow never bleeds...

I have been hoping Tebow/superman would get hurt for the last 3 years(I think it was the media slobbering over his cock so much that made me feel this way.), now that it has happened, I wish he wasn't hurt football is just a game, health is so much more important. Sorry Gator fans I have wished this, and regret it, hopefully he will have a speedy recovery.
An honest tide fan.

That's all it is and the safety of the players is paramount. A great game is when everyone walks off the field......

I am pretty sure Tyson Lee had nightmares of Alem Saturday night.
I want a healthy Tebow to play so I can see the best of both LSU and UF match up. I just hope he is ok because he is still one of my favorite players eventhough he is a gator.

Grade 3
Symptoms: ANY (seconds or minutes) loss of consciousness
Recommendations: get player to emergency room; perform immediate neurological examination and at daily intervals. After a brief (seconds) Grade 3 concussion, athletes should not return to play for one week after symptoms have cleared up; after a prolonged (minutes) Grade 3 concussion, athletes should not return to play for two weeks after symptoms have cleared up. If a player suffers a second Grade 3 concussion, the athlete should not return to play for at least one month without symptoms.

I'm not too sure on the specifics but a guy I grew up around, Zeb Landers, was a freshman All-American Center for Southern Miss. During his... sophomore? year he had back to back concussions and the Dr. told him the 2nd one ended his career. Pretty sad story too the guy was certainly on pace to play in the NFL.
Not to say Tebow is in the same boat, but remember Trent Green? There certainly is some precedence for major concussions leading to extended rest.
I hope the best for Tebow he's my favorite non-Bama player. I'll hold it against Urban specifically if they play him and ruin his career.
