how long was Tim motionless on the ground?

just saw the replay on SC, and it looked like he was down for awhile, pretty scary stuff. even had teammates pulling on him and he didnt even flinch.

No, seriously? If you are being serious, I'm talking about the out-cold hands up motionless, not just laying on the turf, with staff attending him.

he was out for a while...most of it was precautionary though...You cant have people get up on their feet immediately when they take big hits like that.

Coming from someone in the medical field.....

Not saying this is the case but:
I understand he had some flu bugs bothering him.

As far as the sack/hit goes...... being that big of a guy and that big of an injury.... I don't wish anything bad on the kid. That was a hell of a hit he took and the blow to the back of the head was worse.
Thing that flew up a flag to me was when he was on the cart and couldn't stop throwing up.
A ruptured blood vessel in the head or swelling of one, Makes it tough to continue.

Again, let me say, I don't wish anything bad on the kid. It could be any teams QB.

Occasionally a person who has a more serious concussion develops new symptoms over time and feels worse than he or she did before the injury. This is called post-concussive syndrome. If you have symptoms of post-concussive syndrome, call your doctor. Symptoms of post-concussive syndrome include:

Changes in your ability to think, concentrate, or remember.
Headaches or blurry vision.
Changes in your sleep patterns, such as not being able to sleep or sleeping all the time.
Changes in your personality such as becoming angry or anxious for no clear reason.
Lack of interest in your usual activities.
Changes in your sex drive.
Dizziness, lightheadedness, or unsteadiness that makes standing or walking difficult.

it is rare for a fan base to shed tears over an injury, but when it happens it says a lot about the player, and it is not about what he does on the field.

the negative comments about this are probably based on envy and immaturity.

If Tebow really did have a concussion last week (meaning his second concussion was much more severe) he would be out for at least 2 weeks. Think about the NFL where guys have had multiple concussions.
