Dude, If your team had a player like Tebow you might be the same way.

Concerned? Sure, by all means. I hope he's okay. I hate injuries for any athlete.

To the point of tears, shock, etc...no.

You're more than proving my point. Ya'll have put this guy up on a pedestal that no person deserves. He's a hell of an athlete and seems to be a stand-up guy, but the hype is over the top.

Can this please just be an update non-flaming thread?

I'm talking about his injury and people's reaction to it. Just because I have a differing view-point on the UF crowds reaction, does not equal flaming. I also don't think we need minute by minute updates of his status...fair?

The fans in tears was pathetic.

Meh, at least the Florida fans were still there during the blowout to be concerned. All the LSU fans would've left trying to beat the traffic.

why do you need to concern yourself about the reaction to it... go start another thread if you want to discuss that... everything on hear was either an update by princess or general good will to the guy

I did and it was whacked. Most likely because there was a thread stickied at the top about it.

Once again, I don't want to even see him get hurt. Can I not make a comment on the fan's reaction? For God's sake we have a stickied thread about a guy who got hurt. This wouldn't even happen on the Rant for any LSU player over the past 7 years.

the hit on the knee was what was so bad. I have seen him take hits like that and get right back up

Even without the knee hit, I have never seen Tebow take a hit like that, personally.

I have! It was in 2006 vs FSU.

Btw, I started the thread, but I didn't ask for it to be stickyed. I guess someone else did.

Im sorry but the coaching staff made a very bad judgement call on this one! You do not leave your QB in the game up 31-7 trying to recover from H1N1 AND a concussion...

Wasn't it still the 3rd quarter???

When was the last time ANY coach pulled the best player on the team when up 3 possessions in the 3rd quarter?

Right.

What coach EVER takes there QB out with a 3 possession lead in the 3rd quarter?

That simply doesn't happen. If he wasn't sick enough to be on the bench, he needed to be on the field at that point in time.

It would have been his last series no matter what happened. He wanted to play the 3rd for WR corp work.

I hope Tebow is okay.

Sorry that he has to watch himself get his bell rung on every sportscast for the next week.
