Does this include Legion Field?
Why would it? I responded to the gump saying BDS was the toughest place to play. No one mentioned Legion field.

You act as if Alabama has an average record at Legion Field.

Never even mentioned it, so not sure how you can come to that conclusion...Bama had a great record at LF. Still doenst give you a winning record against Auburn at BDS

You jealous bitches need to go to The College Football Data Warehouse and you'll see why Bama is #1. On each team's home page there's a listing of each teams best 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 25 years. Bama just blows EVERYONE away. In each period Bama has double digit periods of being the best in the nation. If you want to see how your team compares, pay them a visit and compare. Just an example, there was some clueless barner on here a few months back that proudly proclaimed auburn as having the best 10 year period from 2004-2013 in the SEC and I think he said the nation as well. Naturally it was pure BS. They were 3rd or 4th as I remember in just the SEC. Bama was #1 and I believe both Florida and LSU were ahead of aburn. Check it out and see how your program stacks up with the big boys.

Wow, you're insecure.

I'm just saying the data is probably wrong due to bama playing some of it's biggests games/rivals at Legion. Are you too dumb to comprehend that. No one is arguing about how good bamas program has been, nitwit.

Like 90 games against the two teams that have beaten bama the most were at Legion Field. Do you not understand how that would skew the percentages?

I was just pointing out that Bama has been dominant regardless of where they've played. For instance, for the best 25 year periods I pointed out, Bama has been the best in the nation for an astounding 20 dfferent periods. That's pretty damned consistent. BTW, Tennessee has 0 periods of being #1 against the rest of the country for 25 years.

Cool, has nothing to do with this thread. Again, this isn't about how good bama has been all time.

For instance, on that same site you'll find that bamas win percentage against AU and UT is around 55%. Do you understand that many of those games were played at Legion and how that would change the home winning percentage?

Obviously it doesn't. But that's improving. And quick.

The only game I think that stood out as a really intimidating and electric atmosphere back then was the '94 game vs UGA.

'91 Georgia was really loud too. That game was every bit the classic that '94 Alabama-Georgia was even though the final score was 10-0.

The biggest home field advantage is getting to field the best team.

The second biggest home field advantage is the Referees

The third biggest home field advantage is home field

BDS could be a dump filled with mutes and Alabama would still have a great home field win %

Nah, it is because of Bear. He won 97% of his home games during his coaching career at Alabama. Their home winning percentage the last 20 years is not the best in the country.

But the reason why Bear was so good at home is because he didn't play his two best opponents there. He played them at Legion.

I'm surprised Bama's home winning percentage is so high. I always thought their home field advantage was weak compared to the likes of LSU, Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Wisconsin, Miami at their peak in the Orange Bowl, etc.... Teams rarely seem to fear playing Bama on the road compared to the other teams that I listed.

Yeah, teams only win/lose because of the fans/stadium. It has nothing to do with product put on the football field.
