National rankings

Points Per Game- 31st (Worst since 2008)

Rushing yards per game- 33rd this year, 37th last year, those are the worst rankings for Alabama's rushing offense since 2007

Rushing yards per attempt-38th (Worst since 2008, From 2009-2013, their lowest ranking in rushing yards per attempt was 19th)

Passing efficiency- 67th (Worst since 2007)

Total offense- 47th (Worst since 2008)

Tackles for loss allowed- 121st!!!

3rd down conversions- 116th!!!

I'm tired of suffering through this guy as Alabama offensive coordinator. This is the worst offense since 2007 and 2008 when the team was stocked mostly with Shula recruits. Doug Nussmeier got fired for less. Major Applewhite got fired because he had a tendency to ignore the running game despite having an offensive line that was much better at run blocking than pass pro and JPW as his QB. How is that any different from what Kiffin is doing now? I am sickened by how much the Alabama offense has declined under his watch. Get this guy out of here ASAP.

He seems to ask an awful lot of his QBs

he calls the dumbest plays. That throw out wide and the running play with the running back next to the quarterback doesn't work in the SEC. He should run the ball down hill and play action pass just like McElwain did.

He's the OOC we need but not the one we deserve

Bench "McElroy". Didn't you also hate McElwain? Look at what he's doing now by the way. Not to say Kiffin's blowing everybody away, but Bama does not win the SEC last year without him, and the offense has been fine this year (only reason we had a shot vs Ole Miss). How do you even enjoy football if you're this negative about everything?

Outside of Cooper last year he has also had probably the worst set of skill players since 2008 also. The OL is nowhere near what it was. The RBs are not as good as Ingram/Richardson/Lacey. The WRs are good but young.

Yep. As evidenced by his user name he also hates a NC winning QB and IIRC he hated Nuss too.

He is either a very skilled deep-cover troll or a living example of the worst in Bama fans.

What are you talking about? I loved Nuss. I didn't like McElwain because the passing offense and red zone TD% should have been much better with the talent he had at his disposal. He wasted Julio Jones who should have been putting up Amari Cooper numbers.

And this year, he has an offense that lost all 3 starting WR, starting QB, starting FB, starting RB, and three starting linemen. The 3 WR, both RB, and at least 1 of the OL also made NFL rosters with 1 WR and both RB being rookie starters.

Anybody that doesn't recognize that the perfomance thus far has been good to at times great given those losses is missing more than a few functioning brain cells.

So the one OC since Applewhite that you've loved is also the only one of the three that Saban's shown the door.

Interesting.

Applewhite

Will always have a special place in my heart for, only hours after learning that he'd lost Glen Coffee, A/A center Antoine Caldwell, plus another starting OL, proceeding to take John Chavis to the woodshed.

BULSHIT!

Have you not read the threads? Alabama is invincible. They don't need an offense.

They can win with nothing but 2 point safeties.

You'll get your wish soon. He gone once February rolls around. He and Saban had a two year handshake agreement. Even if not for the off-field stuff, he'd be gone to the NFL after this year.

Expect the following names to be in the mix:

Rick Neuheisel (has expressed interest before, but CNS probably goes with a younger guy who is more of a recruiter).

Sonny Cumbie/Doug Meacham (TCU co-offensive coordinators)... Saban and staff talked with them quite a bit this offseason.

Darrell Dickey - Memphis' OC

Mike Bloomgren - Stanford OC
