Then take Ingram off. He got thrown into a team with 3 other good running backs, for an offense that throws the ball 50+ times a game.

Actually, Dorsey had a below average rookie season - prior to the shift to playing defensive end, if I recall correctly.

Even so, he was signed by the 49ers as a reserve in 2013 - and only played because their starting nose guard got injured.

For someone who signed a $50+ MILLION contract, he gets to stay on the bust list with Ingram.

LSU first rounders since 2000 judged according to how LSU fans judge Alabama's 1st rounders:

Michael Clayton: bust
Marcus Spears: average
Joseph Addai: bust, only 2 decent seasons
JaMarcus Russell: biggest bust in NFL history
Dwayne Bowe: solid player
Laron Landry: solid player
Craig Davis: epic bust
Glenn Dorsey: bust
Tyson Jackson: bust
Patrick Peterson: solid player
Mo Claiborne: bust
Michael Brockers: decent
Barkevious Mingo: decent
Eric Reid: solid player

Ok buddy. In that case, Mark Ingram is not a bust since he plays in a pass heavy offense that relies on receiving scat backs.

Glenn Dorsey got paid about $220,779 per tackle through his first 4 years in the league.

$1,275,000 per sack.

Joseph Addai is definitely not a bust.
- First running back to go over 1000 yards rushing without starting a single regular season game.
- Led all rookie RBs with a 1000+ yard season (ahem Eddie Lacy)
- Was one of the main reasons the Colts won a Super Bowl (77 rush yards 66 receiving yards)
- Considering the average life span of a RB is 3 years, I'd have to say he produced really well for four
- For a guy who had one year with over 226 carries and 3 over 200, he did pretty well. Injury is what limited him.
- How can you say an RB who had 43 total TDs in his first four years be a bust?

There has been 17 first round RBs drafted from 2006-2010 (to do my four year tree). Only ADRIAN PETERSON has more TDs in that span. Marshawn Lynch didn't reach it til a couple years later and Chris Johnson just missed it by one. Even going to a first five year span, he beats Everybody but Peterson and Johnson. His whole six year span is better than 18 backs in the last 10 years of first round picks.

Peterson and Johnson are the only 2 RBs to have more TDs over their first 6 year span, the last 10 years, than Addai. I don't even have to look at RBs who came after that round to make that fact.

Addai was NOT a bust.

I don't count him a bust, but he literally only had 2 solid years.

He declined in total yardage every single season except 2009.

Rushing yards per year:

2006 - 1,081
2007 - 1,072
2008 - 544
2009 - 828
2010 - 495
2011 - 433

Again, I wouldn't say Addai is a bust, but only because his first two years were solid. His best season was a year that he wasn't even the feature back.

In the same time span UT only has 1 less 1st rounder than us, and I don't think I need to point out the success of both programs from 2000-2013.

So yeah, there are people that do.
