Please tell us more about the Horned Frogs and their 1938 dominance.

You just made my point. This belongs on a Pac 12 message board
Well you said "best athletic department" on an SEC board, and now you're getting upset for being proved wrong by empirical evidence

Sorry our athletic department is the best in the country

Texas is one of only three schools top 25 in all-time football wins (they're in the top 8) and basketball wins (they're in the top 20)

They're also the single-winningest team in college baseball history with more CWS appearances than any other school by a mile, including 3 trips in the last 5 full seasons (TCU has been to the CWS 0 times in the past 5 full seasons).

So you're right: Texas is SEC like.

Texas has more CWS titles than TCU has CWS appearances.

Texas has three final four appearances to TCU's zero.

Texas claims football titles in 1963, 1969, 1970, 2005. TCU claims 1935, 1938. I'm sure their 50,000 seat stadium is a nice venue though.

And Texas still does.

Nine national titles since the beginning of the 2020 fall semester. That's good for most in the country in that time period
