TCU has the best athletic department in Texas

Who would have thought? Didn’t realize their basketball team is ranked in the Top 25 to go along with a playoff football team. Also are the reigning Big 12 champs in baseball and been to the CWS a bunch the last 10 years.

They literally don't have a single conference championship so far in 2022, whereas Texas already has a national championship

Well Texas is the reigning Men’s golf national champions (and women’s tennis, rowing, swimming and diving, and men’s indoor track and field)
But none this academic year except Volleyball.

Tech had a Top 10 Basketball and Baseball program a few years ago.

They've done well. Baylor too.
With TCU going to the Big 12 championship game, the only schools left to never do so are Texas Tech, WVU, and Kansas.
Big 12 is an equitable league.

TCU knows its the big 3 that really matter. Thats where they excel. Very SEC like
