surely it has nothing to do with the fact that everyone on the rant told us wed only run 100% air raid and nothing else, that our "big 12 offense" wouldnt work with the big bad sec defenses, that our defense would get dominated every single game, that manziel would get hurt every week, that the only 2 conference games wed win would be the mississippi's, and that we just set our program back to be a cellar dwelar for 15 years

The few #1 teams you do beat you don't beat back to back. Now obviously I know that this isn't the same team as back then, and I doubt anyone of us is going to blow the other team out by 70+ points, but don't act like it's a forgone conclusion that y'all are going to destroy us.

Well your one of the few A&M fans on here. You guys barley beat us last year and yet some of you act like y'all won the fricking SEC. You may be good, but your still the new guys and you can't throw your weight around just yet.

thank you mr. alabama fan. us a&m fans obviously have no reason to have any type of pride in our team. if you arent a bama fan, uga fan, uf fan, or lsu fan, you cant have any type of pride in your team whatsoever and you can talk down to every single other fan base

Pretty sure all he is saying is that y'all had a good season but its only one year. The teams you mentioned have all made it to the big game or sec championship. Y'all have yet to do that in the SEC. It's not about pride, its about talking shite when you have no place to do so.

Ummmm when did I say that you shouldn't have pride in your school?
Obviously you should have pride in your school. Hell even Miss State, UT, and Auburn fans still had pride in their schools, even after the shitty year they had. And Aggie fans should be extremely proud in how fast Sumlin turned around that program so quickly. I'm just saying don't act like your a top tier program yet, you still have a lot to prove.

thank the rant for this reaction. from the day we joined and until the season started, this whole website said we were gonna be terrible for the foreseeable future. we had a good year, are throwing back in peoples faces after they said how bad we were going to be, and people get pissed about it and automatically assume that we think we are a sec elite program.....i mean how the hell are we supposed to react under those circumstances

Well don't worry you definitely proved a lot of people wrong. Especially Bama fans. We don't think y'all are pushovers. Last year I felt like I was the only one who took the game against y'all seriously, and look what happened. You might not be a powerhouse in the SEC YET, but you guys are definitely going to make every coach think twice on how to prepare for yall. Also I think A&M has earned the respect of every SEC team. You've definitely earned mine.

The problem for Sumlin is the element of surprise is gone. A&M will be very good this year. So will 5 or 6 other SEC teams and all will be playing their best game against the Aggies.
This is a true compliment to the Aggies.

The BCSNCG is NOT about having the TWO BEST teams face of against each other.
It's about setting up a #1 VS #2 matchup. There is a difference sometimes.
They way you said it that means OK St would have been better than bama if they had made that FG or do you think bama would still have jumped an undefeated conference champion cowboy team?
Same thing with boise, they probally slide in over the tide if they were undefeated. Voters didn't want to see a rematch.

A&M literally has nothing in common with the 2011 Bama team. 2010 Auburn is a much closer comparison. A&M lost too much on D to be a top unit defensively. If A&M wins a national championship next year, they'll do it by out-gunning teams with their offense.
