Alabama was unprepared in that first half, whether that has to do with just being tired, or poor coaching, I'm not sure, but Manziel made plays in that first half you couldn't have practiced for, and regardless of your week's previous opponent, you wouldn't have been ready. And not to mention the 9 4th quarter points A&M put on the board after the mighty Saban and the mighty Kirby Smart made their halftime adjustments(and took a knee, if they had to score again they probably would you had absolutely no answer in the 4h). Do you remember those scoring drives? Tell me exactly how you would have guarded what A&M did any differently? Our receivers were beating you one on one, and even double coverage, you didn't have any thing close to as talented as Manziel out there. Alabama simply wasn't good enough to win that game, even after dumb blown assignments allowed quick TDs to bring you back in it. So yes. I think A&M wins that game.

I mean if anyone wants to question how much better A&M's offense was relative to LSU's I don't even know where to begin. LSU's defense was awesome, but this isn't fantasy. At a certain points results matter. Sorry we had them, and LSU didn't. Are we supposed to spot them something?

LSU played us extremely well, and was definitely suited to mitigate Johnny in the back field. Their front seven worked better in space than any team in the country, and it showed. Florida was Johnny's first game, and Kliff didn't really know what he had, and didn't make good adjustments. Missed field goals, a close loss, but I am confident A&M was a far better team than Florida, and the sports gods shined on the Gators that day, because any other week, A&M would have rolled them.

This is where your logic breaks down. I never claimed A&M's dominating win over Alabama was the sole reason for anything. Certainly it is a part of it, but one game does not a season make.
