Team B: 10-3. Bowl loss. Didn't finish in the top ten. Lost to the national champs at home.

By your logic, your 2011-2012 season was your BEST SEASON EVER. Then again, I don't think LSU knows what an undefeated season (including bowl game) looks like.

I don't get this. Outside of winning the Natty, which this team was very capable of, and most certainly would have given A&M and Alabama switched schedules, is A&M not supposed to like where they are heading? And not like how last season went? Are we not a top 10 or arguably top 5 team in the country? Did we not prove we could dominate Alabama in their house? I don't get why Aggies shouldn't be high on their team. Do you have anything to add other than the gump line of wishful thinking that Manziel somehow regresses? Because he won't. You think the offensive line won't be just as dominant? Because Alabama loses more on the line, and A&M returns the best lineman in Jake Matthews on either team. You think our running game is going to suffer? We have two RB transfers who are incredible, and we return the SEC's leading rusher. We lose Swope, but our receptions leader returns, and we have plenty of guys that can catch, and at the very least wait for the play to break down and Johnny to find them wide open. It ain't hard.

nobody is saying you can't be high on your program BUT the guy I was replying to (along with the majority of you on here) think that you hung the moon because of that Bama game and how the season ended. Do you honestly think you win that Bama game if they aren't sleepwalking through the first half after they played their biggest game of the season the week before? And you were clearly better than LSU by November because you beat bama, a bunch of really shitty teams and Oklahoma while LSU didn't show up for a shite bowl? Not hardly.
And to say you dominated them when you won by 5 points, wow. I guess LSU and Florida dominated you at home too. Keep thinking you are better than teams that beat you last year because you beat Alabama late in the year.
But, only A&M returns good players. LSU returns a CB who intercepted JFF, A&M returns a WR who shits his pants over the middle vs LSU and gave up a freebie INT off his pads, Jeremy Hill returns who ran for 127 yards and a TD on you, JFF returns after going 0 TD vs 3 Int and rushing for 1.6 ypc, etc etc.

That only would have made up 4 points (IF Bertolet makes the PAT). We lost by 5.
Now you could say that we were 3 Bertolets (1 PAT, 2 FG) from WINNING against LSU.
