I'm sure this was an honest consensus on Dec 31st. By then, it was known by most he was gone. Also, you guys were smarting from losing to ND where the defense didn't play well. I think you ended up with more C results because of the timing.

I read some of the threads on Chavis the week before the bowls started (and when it seemed there was no chance he was leaving) and there were plenty of people that really liked him and some didn't.

Will LSU be fine without Chavis? Of course. No one is doubting that. We are just happy to have him.

The irony is that if not for the supposed no call on the offsides than they would've been a beneficiary of it this year.
