Were Von Miller's words not inspirational?

They're still first place in swag though

3rd place is better than I had anticipated for the Aggies. I had them behind Texas, Baylor, TCU and Houston.

This is LITERALLY the only TAMU thread on the first two pages. All irrelevant, all the time

This was a very good recruiting class, especially when you consider that A&M also has 4 transfers/early entrants who weren't added to these rankings. You add those transfers and it easily jumps Baylor and probably finishes right in front or behind of Texas.
A&M may still add a few kids too. They've offered a few JUCOs and some other kids who haven't committed yet.

We can't all be Bama.

I'm not sweating 2.41 "recruiting points".
Our class is strong in some positions. We just didn't get the #s we needed on the DL.

Surprised they didn't come in fourth in Texas, honestly.

Next year will be a great year for A&M recruiting.
A&M hasn't been able to host a "Spring" game for the last 2 years because the SEC would not let them host it at another location during the Kyle Field construction.
A&M also will be able to start hosting satellite campuses and interact with players from around the state and potentially other states. The SEC is the only Power 5 conference with this rule. Satellite camps aren't a big deal for most SEC schools, but it is a HUGE deal for A&M since it is the only DI program, out of the 12 programs in TX, that can't have them.

Blind Test from ESPN
8 ESPN 300 commits and 14 4-stars (Bears)
8 ESPN 300 commits and 13 4-stars (Aggies)
12 ESPN 300 commits and 13 4-stars (Sips)
Very little "real" separation between classes at the top end, but both Bears and Sips did sign more kids than the Aggies.
By the way...transfers (TD Moton, Keith Ford, and Priest Willis) were all ESPN 300 kids. Transfer Trevor Knight was a 4-star.
Add them and it looks like this:
11 ESPN 300 commits and 17 4-stars (Aggies)
8 ESPN 300 commits and 14 4-stars (Bears)

Who signed more top 10 Texas players? Ole Miss or A&M?
Edit: Hell, top 16?
